
Grapes: Cannonau.
Harvest: third decade of september-beginning of october.
Vinification: 8-10-day maceration at 24 - 26°c, followed by a minimum of 6 months sur lie in lined cement vats. A further 2 months in glass completes the maturation.
Appearance: ruby red.
Bouquet: full, generous fragrances of ripe wild fruit and berri- es, with subtle notes of sweet violets.
Palate: full-bodied and well balanced in the mouth, with supple tannins supporting an exceptional structure. A warm, heady finish seems almost endless.
Alcohol: 13 - 14%
Serving suggestions: a wide range of charcuterie, fat-rich fish, grilled meats, and soft cheeses.
